There are many symptoms that can indicate lupus, but many of them are very similar to other medical conditions. There are people who suffer from lupus and only have a few symptoms, whereas other have more lupus signs. However, there are some signs that are typical for lupus. A face rash, especially visible over your cheeks or on the skin that is more exposed to the sun is one of the frequent lupus signs. Arthritis, inflammation of your kidneys or changes in your personality that can not be explained are some of the other lupus symptoms that one has to deal with if developing this conditition, lupus. Furthermore, loss of hair, loss of appetite bad circulation or pain in the abdomen may also indicate that you are suffering from lupus.

- gland that are swollen, fatigue and loss of hair in an unexplained manner can also tell you that you are suffering from lupus;
- if you feel that you are more sensitive to the sun, of if you see a change in color of your fingers or toes, these too can be symptoms of lupus;
- mood swings, depression, memory related problems are also indicators of lupus;

The lupus signs vary from a person to another. Furthermore, the lupus symptoms may come and go. The period when the lupus signs are more visible is called a flare. On the other hand, if you have little or no symptoms of lupus at all, then you are in remission. Even if there are medications that you can take for lupus, you might be surprised to see that your symptoms of lupus could actually get worse, even when you use a lupus treatment.
