Best Hair Straighteners and Flat Irons of 2007

CurlytoStraight.com announces the winners of the best 2007 hair straighteners.

The criteria used to decide on this "Best Of" list are; customer support, product features, user feed back and reliability. The following review won't go over every class of flat irons or hair straighteners available. Only high quality products were examined and price was not considered.

These reviews are based solely on product quality, the feed back of customers and features. The survey does not take price into account.

1) The FHI Runway Series - This line of hair straightener is hands down the finest available on the market. It has every cutting edge feature; damp-or-dry styling, 450F max temp, revolutionary heating plates, adjustable heat, lightening fast heat time and the most consistent plate heating of any product out there. Runway models also have the best user feed back of any product we reviewed. If you want the best hair straighteners available on the market this is definitely it, and they are pricey. These hair straighteners usually about $400.

Is it really worth the money? Certainly, if you can afford it.

2) The FHI Platform Series - As a leader in the development of tourmaline integration and ceramic plating, FHI's Platform series provides a first-class straightener at a much more affordable price. Available to buy in varied sizes, the FHI Platform series offers ultra flash heat times, PTFC ceramic heat plates, 450F max heat and adjustable temperature. While these items are more affordable than the Runway models, they are still pricey at around $150 - $200.

3) CHI Pink Series - The trendy pink straightener offers consumers the finest performance and reliability of any straightener in the Farouk CHI line of products. Temperature control, ceramic plates, and flash heat times combined with a comfortably and ergonomically designed handle make the CHI hair straighteners a great option for people that want to get the most out of their hair.

4) T3 Wet-or-Dry - In actuality, this straightener has a rank that is above the CHI Pink series as far as product features, but it fell to the fourth spot due to the fact that consumers have had difficulties with warranty returns. Other than that, this model offers consumers a solid ceramic design.

5) CHI Turbo Series - The Turbo series takes fifth place in our flat iron review. This line of straighteners is used by more hair professionals than any of the other models. And even though its flash heating and maximum temperature do not match the CHI Pink, the CHI Turbo series is a wonderful choice for anyone that wants superior dependability and performance.

Honorable Mention

Even though our straightener review lists the best of the bunch, there are many other top quality, professionally designed straighteners and flat irons available today. The following are some of those:

GHD Hair Straighteners - a perfect device with a polished design that incorporates an assortment of progressive features makes the GHD hair straighteners a superior option.

HAI Hair Straightener|Flat Iron - HAI hair straighteners have a couple of wonderful choices at prices you can afford; the Nu Stik and the Convertible.FHI Flat Iron|Hair Straightener - The FHI Technique series provides consumers with best in Class products for the more conventional models. The FHI ceramic flat iron is a wonderful product with several of the technologies of the new millennium.

*One of the most popular models on the market today, the sedu hair straighteners, was not reviewed because of what seems to be misleading sales practices and the exclusive, anti-competitive internet distribution agreement.
