A fat person is not considered as a fit person. It does not mean that all slim people are absolutely fit. It is stated that the obese or fat people tends to get more ailments and have problems in comparison to the slim people. Obesity is more common in women than the other sex. Various factors or causes attributed for obesity are genetic disorder, glandular disorders, and/or a slow metabolism, excess food consumption and lack of physical activity etc.
It has been observed that American or whites are more obese in comparison to others as they tend to have a high calorie, high fat, low nutrition fast food. They have less active lifestyle too; as they manage to have more facilities in their life that tend to add to their obesity.
Obesity is though to be a ruling cause of low fitness and several kinds of ailments. It increases the risk of illness and serious ailments such as heart disease, diabetes and even the risk of death gets higher. Obesity leads to lack of self confidence and low output in work.
It has been stated that exercising regularly with taking care of the diet proves helpful to reduce on weight and lets an individual return back to slimness soon. It has been suggested that fasting or strict dieting should not the undertaken in order to loose weight. Fasting and dieting may lead to lack of nutrition and early ageing factors like grey hair, wrinkles, poor eyesight etc can come up as its results. Dieting can lead to weight loss but it can be a loss of lean tissue instead of fat tissues. A study points out fasting or dieting for a day or two helps to gain weight as the body uses all the excess food while the person is fasting.
It is highly recommended that exercises should be included in ones daily schedule as it proves to be more beneficial than any other strategy. Exercise undertaken dully in guidance of an expert proves most advantageous to get rid of excess weight without the risk of getting week. The best way to maintain control of body fat is to set realistic goals, which incorporate aerobic activity, such as walking, jogging, swimming, and any other activity that can be sustained for at least 30-60 minutes. These activities prove to be best ones when undertaken in long term.
Hence, it has been suggested; by doing regular exercise, eating nutritious and balanced diet; one can attain good health and become fit.
