Fitness Tip: Sunlight, Fresh Air and Exercise
- By:Ismael D. Tabije
All energy surely emanates from the sun and without sunlight healthy conditions are impossible. Therefore, if you would want to prolong your life, stay in the sunlight as much as possible. If you wish to be healthy, breathe deeply fresh air charged with the sun's vitalizing rays, the sun being the ultimate source of energy. Sunshine really is life; without it, health-and existence, for that matter--is impossible. But there are people, quite a vast in number, who go through their lives as though they are an exemption to that natural law. Pure air is our greatest blessing and the foundation of health and longevity.
The reader will probably say, “I know all this.” Certainly you do, but the percentage of people who do not know it or who do not appreciate its value is numerous. You’d know by the pallid faces of the employees of our great sunless department stores or other indoor workers.
Deep breathing brings a bulk of air into the lungs, but the air does not necessarily spread through the muscles, nerves and bones. However, if the air inhaled is charged with the vital principle or solar energy, the air sends electric body fluid through every crevice of the body thus renewing the mechanism of the system. Air, which has been exposed to sunlight, possesses the life principle to a far greater extent than the air of sunless rooms.
I suggest that it is better if you do exercises with the sunlight streaming through the window and could reach your naked body. In this way, you get the benefits that the sun can give while at the same time developing your muscles.
